Karolina is an experienced strategist and methodologist, with extensive experience across the areas of workplace mental health, occupational rehabilitation, HSE, HR advisory and organisational design.

She has developed mental health, HR and Communications strategies for many mid and large sized employers, with a particular focus on strategy integration locally and internationally.

Karolina has provided advisory services and subject matter expertise for organisations and government departments faced with their most complex People problems.

She has provided advisory services, undertaken policy reviews and redesigned organisations with clients across a broad range of industries. Her main clients have been top tier law firms, employers in the oil gas and mining industries, financial services, private health, life and income protection insurers and workers compensation insurance companies.

NEIL NORMAN

PRINCIPAL - RISK, SYSTEMS AND ASSURANCE

Neil has extensive experience in developing, establishing, and reviewing client’s health and safety management systems and safe systems of work including policies, strategic plans, risk assessments, asbestos management plans, safe work method statements, risk registers, and hazardous substance management plans, Neil is a perfect fit with the ethos of SafetyWorks. 

Neil is a passionate health and safety professional with over 20 years’ experience working across a wide range of industries within the public and private sectors, including mining, transportation and warehousing, construction, manufacturing, aerospace, defence, the arts and State and Federal Government Agencies.

He has held line management positions with nation-wide responsibilities across Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific region with his skills extending to application of Safety Useability Mapping principles to help organisations simplify comprehensive and/or complex WHSMS’s or procedural documentation.

CAROLINE BURG

SENIOR RISK & ASSURANCE CONSULTANT

Caroline has 20 years' experience working in the Occupational Health and Safety industry and is a passionate advocate who works to build capacity with organisations and businesses, so safety performance continues to improve over time and remains sustainable.

Her specialty lies in the design, implementation and improvement of health and safety management systems. Caroline has worked with Federal, State, and Local government, health and community services, manufacturing, warehouse and distribution, pharmaceutical, forestry and justice. She has also developed and delivered WHS training programs including induction, risk management, diversity and conflict, manual handling, forklift induction and Health & Safety Representative training.

Delia is a seasoned health and safety professional with over 12 years of experience across various industries in the public and private sectors, including construction, healthcare, and government agencies. She offers technical support, conducts audits, and provides guidance, particularly in construction and civil works, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and government guidelines. Delia excels in developing WHS management systems, Safe Work Method Statements, and Risk Assessments. She has also conducted audits for Infrastructure NSW, supported businesses in safety certification processes, and participated in Federal Safety Commission audits.

Kelly is a registered Psychologist with extensive experience in organisational culture transformation, specifically in the areas of leadership development and employee experience. Katie is a registered and endorsed Organisational Psychologist. Katie has worked Australia-wide with private, not-for-profit and government clients in the areas of workplace mental health and wellbeing strategy development, psychosocial risk management, coaching, psychometric assessment and leadership development. 

Katie also has experience in the banking and mining sectors, designing and implementing workplace mental health and wellbeing strategies with a focus on proactive, systemic interventions that improve employee wellbeing and performance.
