Health & Safety Representative Training

SafetyWork's 5 day HSR course has been developed specifically for current Health & safety Representatives (HSRs) and Deputy HSRs who have been elected under Part 5 of the WHS Act 2011.

This approved course will assist HSRs to gain the knowledge and skills to fulfill their role and functions under the WHS legislation. The role of the HSR is to facilitate the flow of information about health and safety between the Person Conducting a Business or Undertaking (PCBU) and the workers in their work group.

A HSR who has completed the 5-day HSR training will be deemed to have undergone the training prescribed by the Workplace Health and Safety Regulations 2011 for the purposes of issuing a direction to cease unsafe work under section 85 and issuing a provisional improvement notice under Section 90 of the WHS Act.

Duration: 5 Days

Public Course Cost: $840pp (excluding. GST)
