Liz Nicol

Liz Nicol is a specialist in the design and implementation of behavioral-based business strategies to achieve core initiatives, particularly around safety and related cultural change processes. She has worked in a wide variety of settings on both strategic approaches to managing safety effectively and organizational cultural change management including, executive coaching. Liz is particularly effective in coaching individuals from executives to line employees to make sustained positive change, both individually and in the corporate culture.

For the last 8 years Liz has been involved as the Project Leader in the delivery of behavioural technology (leadership and safety) to a diverse range of industries including: steel making (Smorgon Steel, Onesteel), electricity and postal distribution (Country Energy, Australia Post, New Zealand Post), electricity generation (Eraring Energy, Macquarie Generation), local government (Newcastle, Brisbane and North Sydney City Councils) Alumina refining (Queensland Alumina Limited) Aluminum production (Alcoa), Motor Vehicle Manufacturing (Holden) and Human Services (Department of Human Services Victoria, NSW Legal Aid Commission). Liz has a strategic focus approach and has led strategic change for major industries such as McDonald’s Australia and the Alesco Group of companies among many others. Liz has a strong interest in supporting clients in achieving sustained behaviour change that helps them measurably improve their bottom line business results.

Liz is a lecturer (sessional) at the University of Newcastle in the Bachelor and Postgraduate OHS courses, and is a regular speaker at a range of national and international Conferences.
