David Gilroy - Consultant

David has over 30 years experience in major industry in construction and management for the iron and steel, power generation, glass, foundry and non-ferrous industries.

As a senior manager at BHP Newcastle for over 10 years he was responsible for providing specialized team leadership skills for asset life extension and plant maintenance ensuring that safety goals and production targets were achieved. More recently over the last 8 years David was CEO for the Asia Pacific region of a global company providing contract teams to India, China, Japan, Australia and the South East Asia Region.

Holding an MBA and Mechanical Engineering Certificate with additional qualifications in Management & Leadership Training, Safety and Quality, and experience at all levels of management David brings significant experiential skills in Leadership and Safety across a diverse range of cultures and organizational levels.
